Can you share some memories from your childhood,
especially growing up in a family with baking tradition?
My childhood was filled with the scents of freshly baked bread and the sweet aroma of pastries. My great-grandfather Francisco foun- ded “Daperno” and the Rosario Bakers Center after arriving from Italy in 1930, so baking is deeply ingrained in our family’s history. I grew up surrounded by this legacy, always curious and eager to learn. I remember one Easter vividly, the store was packed with a long
line outside. It was almost like a game to me—I started helping with customer service, weighing bread, and serving dough. Those early experiences were so formative, and years later, I officially became the cashier, bringing everything I had learned into that role.
Antonela, you’ve become a prominent figure in Miami’s television media.
What do you think has been the key to your success in such a competitive environment?
I believe the key to my success has been staying true to myself while continuously evolving. Miami is a city that embraces diversity and innovation, so it’s essential to bring something unique to the table. My background in social communication and marketing has given me the tools to connect with my audience on a deeper level. I always aim to blend elegance with authenticity, whether I’m hosting a show, interviewing a guest, or modeling.
Your work spans various media platforms, from television to digital.
How do you see the role of TV hosts evolving in the digital age?
The role of TV hosts is definitely evolving, especially with the rise
of digital platforms. Today, a TV host needs to be more versatile, engaging audiences not just on screen but also through social media and other online channels. The line between traditional media and digital media is blurring, and it’s important to adapt to this shift. I see it as an opportunity to reach more people and interact with them in real-time, which adds a new dimension to my work. Being present
in both worlds allows me to stay relevant and connected with my audience.
You’ve been a key figure on “Club Miami,” a football show for TyC Sports Internacional, with over 50 episodes under your belt. How has this experience shaped your career as a TV host?
Hosting ‘Club Miami’ has been an incredible journey. Being part of a show that reaches millions of viewers across Latin America and the U.S. has not only expanded my audience but also deepened my understanding of sports journalism. Football is a passion that unites people, and having the opportunity to present and analyze it from Miami, a city that’s becoming increasingly significant in the football world, has been thrilling. It’s also allowed me to develop my interviewing skills, espe- cially when it comes to discussing intricate aspects of the game and its cultural impact.
Lionel Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami has been one of the biggest stories in football. How has this impacted “Club Miami,” and what’s it like covering such a global icon on your show?
Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami has undoubtedly been a game-changer for football in the U.S., and it’s been a pivotal moment for ‘Club Miami’ as well. Covering Messi isn’t just about following his performance on the field; it’s about capturing the broader impact he has on the community, the fans, and even the local economy. It’s a unique privilege to be at the forefront of this story, especially given my connection to Rosario, Messi’s hometown. We’ve seen a significant increase in viewership since his arrival, and it’s been exciting to bring exclusive content and insights to our audience, making them feel part of this historic moment.
What do you think Messi’s presence in Miami means for the future of football in the U.S.
and for Inter Miami as a club?
Messi’s presence in Miami is a game-changer, not just for Inter Miami but for football in the U.S. as a whole. It elevates the profile of MLS and attracts a global audience, bringing new fans and opportunities to the league. For Inter Miami, Messi’s arrival signals a new era. His leadership and experience are invaluable, and I believe he will inspire the next ge- neration of players while helping the team reach new heights. This is just the beginning of a very exciting chapter for football in America.
As a correspondent for “Al Ritmo de Miami,” what kind of stories do you look for when covering Miami’s
evolving luxury landscape?
I love uncovering stories that show the evolution of Miami as a global hub for luxury living. Whether it’s a new boutique hotel with a fasci- nating history or a luxury real estate development that’s changing the skyline, I look for stories that tell the bigger picture of how the city is shaping itself. Miami is constantly evolving, and my job is to capture that in a way that engages viewers and makes them feel like they’re part of the experience.
You host “Por las Dudas” show touches on so many aspects of life, from wellness to relationships.
How do you select which topics to dive deeper into?
We listen to what resonates with our viewers. Some topics, like self-care or financial wellness, spark deeper discussions, and we make a point of revisiting those themes with new perspectives. It’s about striking a ba- lance between current events and timeless issues that impact everyday life. We also try to introduce new topics that might not be on the radar but are important to discuss.
You’ve described your ability to “undress” your guests by breaking down their barriers. Can you share a memorable moment where this approach led to a particularly impactful interview?
One of the most memorable interviews was with Susana Giménez, an icon in Argentina. She’s a seasoned professional, so I knew I had to approach the interview with a mix of respect and boldness. By focusing on her personal experiences and emotions rather than her public persona, we uncovered stories and insights that truly resonated with the audience. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love journalism—it’s about revealing the person behind
the public image.
Is there a resource, expert, book, or podcast that
has had a significant impact on your life?
Yoga has been a game-changer for me. Incorporating it into my weekly routine has helped me find balance and realize that I have control over how I respond to life’s challenges. It’s not just about physical health—it’s also a mental and emotional reset that helps me stay grounded and thrive in all aspects of my life.
As someone deeply involved in the Miami lifestyle scene, how do you see the city evolving, and what excites you most about its future?
Miami is constantly evolving, and that’s what makes it such an exciting place to be. The city is becoming a global hub for art, culture, and entertainment, with influences from all over the world. What excites me most is the opportunity to be at the forefront of this cultural convergence, helping to shape how Miami is perceived both locally and internationally. Whether through television, fashion, or events, I want to continue bringing Miami’s vibrant spirit to life.
How do you balance your work as a TV host with
your other roles as a model and actress?
It can be challenging to balance all my roles, but I believe that each aspect of my career complements the others. Modeling, TV hos- ting, and acting all require a strong sense of presence, confidence, and the ability to connect with an audience. The key for me is time management and staying focused on what I want to achieve in each area. I love the diversity of my work—it keeps me inspired and allows me to explore different facets of my creativity.
Fashion and elegance are clearly important to you.
How does your personal style influence your professional image on screen?
My personal style is an extension of who I am, and it plays a significant role in my professional image. I believe that how you present yourself visually can communicate a lot about your personality and values. For me, elegance is about simplicity, sophistication, and attention to detail. On screen, I choose outfits that reflect my character—pieces that are stylish yet comfortable, and that allow me to feel confident and authentic. My goal is to convey professionalism while still being approachable.
You’ve interviewed a wide range of celebrities, from athletes to actors. Is there someone you haven’t interviewed yet but would love to, and why?
There are so many fascinating people I’d love to interview, but if I had to choose one, it would be Oprah Winfrey. She’s a pioneer in the media industry and someone I deeply admire for her ability to connect with people and tell powerful stories. Oprah has an incre- dible knack for making her guests feel comfortable while drawing out profound insights. Interviewing her would be an opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business, and I believe it would be an enriching experience for both me and my audience.
Finally, what’s next for Antonela Fredianelli?

Each one aligns with my passion for lifestyle, communication, and storytelling, and I’m carefully considering how they fit with my long-term vision. Moving forward, one of my key goals is to launch a new show that blends my love for fashion, lifestyle, and in-depth interviews. I’m also focused on expanding my presence in international media, delivering fresh and original content to new audiences. The journey is just beginning, and I’m thrilled to see where these opportunities will lead me next.
