“I love being busy! When I’m working
I feel that nobody stops me”
What do you remember most about your early years, and how did your interest in becoming a model develop?
I remember that when I was a kid, 4.5 years old, I loved to pose for the camera, it always came to me very spontaneously, my mom bought me a pair of high heels and I pretended to catwalk around the whole house, I had so much fun. A little older when I turned 14, my passion for photography and fashion grew, every weekend I called my friends and family with a plan: let’s “take photos” and “portraits” of myself and them wearing different styles, best time ever.
What was the beginning of your journey in the modeling industry like? Was it a long-standing ambition, or did it come about in a different way?
taking photos, retouching them and creating new ideas for the next photo session, I took it as my meditation, my entertainment and my grounding cable, it took me a lot of work and when I saw the final results I loved it and I knew that I had to start to do it professionally and that’s when I started looking to get signed by the model agencies.
Modeling is often seen as glamorous, yet its reality is multifaceted. What particular facet of modeling brings you the most satisfaction?
Honestly… absolutely all of them, I love new challenges and fulfilling the vision that the brand/producer proposes to me for each production, that is something that characterizes me a lot… being a chameleon and working to achieve the best results.
How is living in New York? When it comes to New York City, what stands out to you as your favorite aspects?
Living in New York is living the dream, like a movie! a roller coaster of emotions. It is a city that teaches you a new lesson every day and at the same time opens your mind. My favorite aspects of the city is above all the freedom of expression, the mixture of cultures and the art that I find in every corner of the city, there is always art and I love that, it makes me feel much more alive and motivated.
What comes to mind when you think about your first time posing in front of a camera?
My first time? ufff I was such a little girl, the only thing I was constantly thinking was: I want more of this, I want more!
Is there a specific moment that you consider a defining point in your career?
It was at the Palace Hotel, in Buenos Aires… when I walked for the 3rd time, I was wearing a black wedding dress, wow and what a dress! It was beautiful but it had some flaws, it fall out of the sides, for everyone it was a drama but for me it was something that had to happen, so I embrace it and when I was going to do the catwalk I was able to hold the dress correctly and concentrate in my attitude, pose and not the dress, no one noticed, I wore it very well and received many compliments that day. I felt so happy and I knew that nothing was going to get in my way… even if we encounter some obstacles in life we have to find a way to make it work.
When it comes to shootings or castings, how do you psych yourself up mentally? Are there any strategies you find helpful?
I always try to share good vibes, enjoy it, I mentalize myself with the idea that each casting is one more step towards success, whether the result is good or bad, I know that I will always take something from any circumstance, positive thinking.
Traveling, runway shows, and castings are integral parts of the modeling profession, often requiring physical resilience. How have you adjusted your lifestyle and eating habits to meet these demands?
Since I start my career I realized that beauty is not everything, but it’s way more important keeping my mind strong at all times, I exercise every single day and I eat responsible and healthy of course, that makes me feel great and I feel that I am giving the best to achieve my goals and dreams.
Modeling and social media are closely intertwined in today’s context. How do you balance these two aspects, and do you see the role of a model expanding to that of a content creator?
It seems incredible to me, my beginnings were about creating content. I feel that it is a way of showing the daily life of a model, how I live it every day, and give me the possibility to share one of my life passion: fashion.
